  • Levels of fitness and outdoor experience - we can discuss suitable locations and terrain

  • Any physical challenges which might impact your walking - we can make any necessary amendments, including accessible walk options

  • Having suitable clothing for changing weather and temperatures.

  • Wearing suitable footwear for changing terrain

  • Being aware of confidentiality when passing other walkers

  • What we would do if we meet someone you or I know - we will discuss this in advance

  • Being aware of traffic on country lanes

  • Having the time to decompress at the end of the session before driving home

  • If we are unable to meet outdoors - due to adverse weather or medical reasons - we would normally agree to conduct the session online instead

Acknowledging Risk

By booking an Outdoor Therapy session, you are acknowledging that outdoor activities involve risk. As a therapist, I am there to accompany you and will do all I can to minimise the risks, but you acknowledge that nevertheless, risks do remain and that you accept these risks.
